Ook voor koeien is buurmans gras soms groener:

A rescue operation is planned to recapture six renegade cows which escaped from a farmer's field and swam to an island in the middle of a river.
The one-year-old heifers fled their home at Faxfleet Hall Farm near Broomfleet, East Yorkshire, last Wednesday under the cover of darkness. They trudged over a quarter of a mile to the edge of the fast flowing Humber Estuary before swimming out to a grassy abandoned island, where they have stayed for the past week.

Update:

The six cows who swam halfway across a river to start a new life on an abandoned island in East Yorkshire have been airlifted ashore.
The Charolais cows, who had fled their home at Faxfleet Hall Farm near Broomfield, last Thursday, had walked through fields before swimming across part of the River Humber. The cows settled down on the 200-acre Whitten Sand.
