De Olympische zijn voorbij, tijd voor de Arctic winter games. Ook kun je gezellig golfen op de whites, bijna 600 kilometer boven de poolcirkel. Gesponsord door Drambuie, maximaal 40 deelnemers. Vorig jaar hebben ze er de echte Ice Queen gekroond.
Andere uitdaging: 9 september, de poolcirkelmarathon: "The strenuous course will take the runners on top of the ice cap, but also past glacial tundra, icy lakes and through an arctic desert, where musk oxen and reindeer are living on the barren slopes. The course is hilly and is considered 'Lightly Extreme'. Therefore, expect to add an hour to your average marathon time."
