LONDEN - Britse kinderversjes zijn gewelddadiger dan de "kindervriendelijke" televisieprogramma's in de vroege avonduren. Als je een uur lang naar dergelijke liedjes luistert, wordt je met meer geweld geconfronteerd dan als je een uur naar de televisie kijkt.
Tot die conclusie komen onderzoekers van een Londens ziekenhuis. Een team artsen onderzocht 25 populaire Britse kinderversjes zoals Jack And Jill. Zij vergeleken de teksten met de inhoud van twee weken televisie.
Elk uur televisie waren er gemiddeld bijna vijf "verontrustende" scènes, vergeleken met ruim 52 gewelddadige en agressieve passages in de versjes.
