Council staff warned of 'danger' kitten

A council put a kitten on its "violent animals" database because it scratched a building inspector. The council in Colne, Lancashire, told Brian Jackson that due to the "attack" his address would be blacklisted.
Mr Jackson doesn't even own the kitten, it belongs to a neighbour, so his address has now been cleared on appeal.
The inspector was supervising repairs to Mr Jackson's home when four-month-old Sascha hopped on to his shoulder. Brian, 55, said: "He screamed and terrified the poor kitten. She was only small so she dug her claws in to hold on." He has criticised the council for wasting time and money over the "incident".
He added: "Snarling, bloodthirsty dobermans or pit bulls are violent - not a cute little kitten."
Following representations to the council, Sascha and Mr Jackson were taken off the database, says The Sun.
