Children hold up ice cream parlour

A gang of five children robbed an ice cream parlour at gunpoint in Brazil. The youngsters, aged between 11 and 16, took ice cream, sweets and pop from the shop in Ribeirao Preto, Sao Paulo. They threatened ice cream parlour manager Valdecir Soares de Oliveira with a pellet gun, reports the Agora Sao Paulo newspaper. They ran away but were discovered by police officers moments later, eating their haul in a nearby street.
They were interviewed by the police and released to their parents. The boys older than 12 will be prosecuted.
