'Sleepwalking' wife knew what she was doing

A German man who called police as he thought his wife had sleepwalked out of their flat was shocked to find she'd left him.
The man, aged 60, called police in Ruedersdorf in the early hours of the morning after his 39-year-old wife went missing. He told them she must have sleepwalked out of their flat and a full police search, including helicopters, was launched.
It took until the afternoon before the woman was found at a friend's flat, the Berliner Kurier reports. It turned out she hadn't been sleepwalking, but had decided to leave her husband.
